Dr. Daniel Bak is a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Fire Protection licensed in the State of California, USA. He is also a licensed Fire Safety Engineer (FSE) in Singapore. His education encompasses the realms of safety and industrial engineering with a total focus on fire and life safety. His experience covers practically all industries. Dr. Bak can help you understand and answer critical questions in forensic matters. Questions such as “what happened” and “why” are resolved. Or, he can help you streamline your fire and life safety requirements. This information becomes the road map for a Building and Fire Codes compliant and efficient design. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). Daniel is also a Member of the Board of the SAME Orange County Post.

Dr. Daniel N. Bak, P.E., FSE does wear two (2) different and distinct “hats”.
One “hat” caters to architects, building owners, and Authorities Having Jurisdictions. We do building and fire code analysis, fire suppression design, fire alarm design, third-party reviews and inspections, and any other due diligence requests.
The other “hat” serves insurance companies, law firms, or other vested interested parties involved in potential design or construction disputes. Included in this service is the forensic investigation of losses due to various reasons. With this “hat”, Dr. Bak offers forensic fire investigations, fire modeling and simulations, analysis of design and construction defects, as well as expert witnessing.
For other than Daniel, other experts are just for a little humor. Nevertheless, to respond better to clients’ needs, we do supplement our fire expertise with related other disciplines expertise. These relationships are joint-ventures to benefit clients’ needs, issues, and requirements.
